Infopia Adds New Customers in May, Strengthening Their Position As An Emerging Leader in Automotive and Consumer Electronics


Roughly 60% of new customers come from competing product platforms

Infopia announced an increase of just over 10% net new customers so far during the second quarter of 2009. This growth in customers was helped due to the ongoing updates of the Infopia Transact platform and the continued churn being experienced by a single competitor in the marketplace.

“We continue to increase our customer base month-over-month,” said Coleman Barney, CEO of Infopia. “And our prime hunting ground for new customers is the disaffected customers from other marketplace platform offerings.”

In the second quarter of 2009 an astonishing 59% of Infopia’s new customers were customers of competing products. Clients are leaving their current platform provider to join Infopia because of the outstanding support, flexibility and customization that Infopia offers. A large percentage of these new clients are auto and consumer electronic sellers. Infopia attributes this to their in-house website design team, feature rich storefronts and kitting and bundling options.
