Infopia Announces Series C Funding
New Capital Drives Launching of the Infopia Transact eCommerce Platform
Salt Lake City, UT – June 5, 2008 – Infopia, the leading SaaS eCommerce platform provider, announced today that it has successfully completed its Series C round financing of $12 million. The round was led by UV Partners and includes previous investors Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Trident Capital, and TPP Capital Advisors, Ltd.
Infopia will use these funds as working capital to accelerate the execution of its current business plan—launching the new Infopia Transact eCommerce platform and pursuing strategic acquisition opportunities. The new open eCommerce platform leverages over eight years of industry experience helping multi-channel, online merchants successfully grow their businesses.
