Infopia Summit 2007 Helps Online Retailers Prepare for New Wave of eCommerce

Annual gathering shares best-practices and takes pulse on current state of online retailing

Salt Lake City, UT  March 14, 2007 -  Infopia, the leader in Multi-Channel, Online selling solutions, announced drawing rave reviews from participants at its annual Summit held Feb. 28Mar. 2 in Salt Lake City.  The three-day event provided a forum to help customers fully utilize their Infopia investment, to optimize online selling tools and technologies, and especially to help Infopia learn how to meet the needs of customers now and in the future.

Infopia presented its product roadmap, including a discussion of how Web 2.0 is changing the online retailing environment.  Salesforce.com discussed customer lifetime value and turning customers into "raving fans" through proactive customer relationship management using Infopia's integration with the Salesforce CRM platform.  Infopia¹s new integrated solution with eBay Giving Works demonstrated how easy it is to implement a cause marketing campaign. Small group workshops offered participants an opportunity to learn, discuss, and share expertise they could use to improve their online business right away.

Through an informal survey, participants confirmed some industry trends that indicate the following: more online merchants are using multiple online selling channels; marketing initiatives and priorities for the next six months include email campaigns, pay-per-click advertising and website optimization; and fees for listing, advertising, and transactions continue to be a top concern.

"This was an important event for us to listen to our customers and industry partners, and strengthen those relationships," explained Bjorn Espenes, chief executive officer of Infopia.  "It is vital to stay in touch with our customers and keep a pulse on their challenges and opportunities.
