The Opportunity

As Infopia’s Senior Network Engineer and Administrator, you will take ownership of Infopia’s network devices and related infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing our environment with an emphasis on reliability and performance. As an e-commerce solution provider, we work in a SAAS environment and our uptime requirements are high and make this position challenging and interesting.

Responsibilities

Infopia is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to take on the following areas of responsibilities:

• Ensure 24/7 uptime of network infrastructure
• Modify, build, patch, upgrade and configure Cisco network devices and appliances
• Maintain tight security posture for internet facing infrastructure that is subject to PCI-DSS compliance
• Manage system backup and recovery, define restore strategies
• Work closely with system administrators and developers regarding infrastructure changes, requirements, and considerations

Candidate Profile

Desired Experience

• Firm understanding of networking fundamentals
• Experience with enterprise class firewalls (especially Cisco ASA)
• 5+ years management of Cisco system administration in a 24/7 environment
• Cisco CCNA desired, CCNP or greater preferred
• Experience with, or good understanding of Load Balancing technology (especially Cisco ACE a plus)
• Cisco ACE XML Gateway experience a plus
• Cisco MARS/IPS or CCSP a plus

• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal direct supervision
• Disciplined, structured approach to applying change
• Ability to estimate, plan, execute and track projects to completion
• Strong written, listening, communication, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve, make decisions, focus on service and recognize business objectives
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Positive, optimistic, can do attitude
• Goal-oriented with ability to thrive in fast paced, quickly changing market
